Day 3 & 4 in Launceston next week

Hope Scott Jaffray keeps it goin, a pile of potential and talent there from what i saw at Shield!!

I dont think you would of have too many problems...........

I was playing gutter to gutter yesterday using an Ogre SS fully loaded up. 25 feet of backend and not much oil outside 5. Havent played that shot for years. LOL

This weekend at lonny will be the interesting factor. 40ft pattern, carries down quickly (pattern has been used for about 9 months), and Topcoat missing all over from the foul line to 35+ft.

Will be fun.

hahahaha well that weekend sounds like where i bowled 2 weeks and had 240 for 10

lonnie jesus when they going to get some new lanes

the good scoring continues at hobart. nice bowling guys. special mention to scott jaffray, big effort and all games over 200 only one in the field to do that! well done.

the usuals at the front gazza and ash. gus nicely placed for an assualt at home and plenty of talent outside the 7 at the moment to make a run at this weekend, should be worth watching. looking forward to it.

see you all sat.

PS - matty - i wasnt even there and im pretty sure that you would be comfortably placed after weekend 1 if you were bowling!

its all good boys i will see u in canberra, i wont be bowling rachuig but i will be bowling nationals and masters

Just a small point, if Annie's scores are correct then her average would be 202.3 and not 194 as shown and be placed 2nd.

I am sure this will or has been corrected by next weekend.

Very impressive scoring BTW.

Good luck to everyone next weekend.

John, looks like the mistake has come from game 3 which should read 198, not 298. The total is incorrect, the average is correct.

A mention to how well the ladies bowled on the weekend, as always the talk is about the men, so well done ladies.

An exciting and close weekend in Launceston ahead. Good luck to all.

lonnie jesus when they going to get some new lanes

Well, that is the $1,000,000 question on everyone's (especially mine) lips and it is a bit of a laughable answer.

I have been told so many things since I made my "Really dissapointed" post, that I dont know what to believe anymore.

The latest I heard on the weekend is September, but that was from an employee at Moonah and was from a visit by the RM 2 Weeks ago. Last week, Roxy & Mick hadnt been told any dates and no one seems to be able to give them one. Roxy keeps asking, but to no avail.

After I made my post (and subsequently got mt right butt cheek chewed off and being told how I shat on everybody) I was told that a Computer Score scoring system and Pneumatic Bumpers were going to be installed by the end of March. I was told that Synthetics were going to be installed by July. I was also told that we were getting new pins, masking units, seating, and maybe some ball returns. It has also been posted that no AMF centre will have an HVO Summit by years end (it was also posted that the 2 Tassie centres were going to recieve Kegels in the "upcoming fiscal year". I guess it wasnt said which fiscal year LOL)

Since that post 3 and bit months ago, the only thing that has been received is the pins. The "New" masking units were supposed to have left QAMF the same day but I (or anybody else) have seen them. (I have the PM to prove I was told that too!!)

I was told initially told that we are getting the stuff from Top Ryde, Lock stock and barrel. Apparently, the Scoring and Bumpers are in Melbourne (have seen photos) awaiting a date from Computer Score to do the Installation (they have been there for nearly 3 months!). As for the lanes, seating, ball returns, well no answer on those and nobody seems to know where they are. The masking units from Top Ryde were sent to Melbourne but were damaged in transit and new ones have been ordered. (What happened to the other "New" ones? LOL)

So as I said, Laughable. It just continues to go round and round in circles with no one actually coming up with a result. (A Result being stuff actually installled and not just saying it wil be installed around then)

Maybe one day it will all happen.

yes, its a somewhat tedious and boring game to play isnt it. im sure the guys and lonny fully expect the run around for some time yet - however certainly dont deserve that to be the case!

droo - you up this weekend, like to have a frothie with you if you are and have time.

I'll be there... might have to venture up to the Casino so I can hit some range balls... I'll go through withdrawals:busted2:

no worries. ive have to go to a 'strategic planning' day at grindelwald on saturday until 4pm (lucky me!) .... but let me know if you wanna have a beer Saturday night somewhere.

Looking forward to having a look tomorrow on what is traditonally known as "Moving Day" ..... those in the 7 looking to consolidate and those outside looking to make their move into the 7 so as not to have to do that on the final day.

With everything so close, should be good to watch.

Goodluck to everyone.
