The highest game of the day was a 290, bowled by house lefty, Jon King, as part of a first 4-game block of 1,008 (247-226-290-245). He added a further 3 games of 215, 225 and 238. Great effort, Jon!!

Robert Muller bowled a 278, Morty Douglass a 266 and John Juett a 265. Kirstie Mills bowled the high game for the Ladies with a 257, followed by Emma Rutten with a 248 and Mindy Flewellen with a 244. Mindy topped the Ladies division after bowling extremely well all day.

Our Super Moderator (aka Graham Williams) came out of "retirement" to bowl as a pacer and the only question being asked was: WHY DID HE RETIRE?? When I last checked, after 3 games, he had bowled a 674 (average 224) and was crushing the lanes.

Thanks to Colleen and Greg Sharp and Frank Kosztan, who worked tirelessly to keep everyone up-dated with the scores. The techs and other staff at Chermside also did a great job throughout the day.

Thanks too, to Peter McMurtrie (Qualified Massage and Sports Therapist - 07 3848 0243) who performed wonders in ministering to a wide range of aches and pains suffered by the contestants.

Can I just ask how many lefties are bowling in this please, Jon is the only one I regonise. As for Trev, more bowling and less $%*&@

Hi George,

I think Scott Lutvey also bowls with the wrong hand (LOL), but I don't recall seeing too many other lefties among the Men yesterday. I'll do a full check of the 46 bowlers today and let you know.

George,

There were only 4 left-handers in the Queensland Rachuig rolloffs - two men (Jon King and Scott Lutvey) and two Ladies (Kirstie Mills and Emma Rutten). 75% of the lefties made the team.
