Notice to all Deveer bowlers past, present & future

Cranky & puppy
Question to all: How many Deveer bowlers out there, in all states and territories were consulted about the proposed changes to the Deveer format?

Is it not the case that bowlers pay a sanction to the TBA for the right to be consulted over issues such as this? How can the few make a decision without consulting the many? Ever heard of the democratic process?

TBA Board is elected by the voting delegates from each state, most of the board is made up by bowler representatives. They were voted in and now they have the role of making decisions for the direction of the sport. I can't see how TBA could possibly function if they had to go out and ask 30 odd thousand members (or however many there are) if they can make a decision. It is the same way your local associations are run x amount of people are voted in by the bowlers to do a job if you don't like the way it is run then stand for a position when elections come round.

Each State has a Branch office and a Branch Manager who applies for the job and is selected by Alec Popov. In SA the Branch Manager selects who will be on the executive committee. The bowling communitee has no input at all.
