Last time I bowled at Campbelltown, 26 years ago they only had that funny little back to back centre. What was it called, Astro Lanes or something?

Hi Guys,

As promise......

Pattern for Round 2 at Campbelltown 13th March will be...

TURN PIKE.

With the conditioner being applied in a flat manner on the forward travel, and with a little shape created on the journey back towards the foul line, this makes the last third of this pattern very flat. So when bowling on the Turnpike, you better pay strict attention to your direction or you will pay a hefty toll!

Ok guys there it is ...so come and join us at Campbelltown for the second round and lets take on the TURN PIKE.

Note: We've had some discussion, and we felt that people may not like the 8 game qualifying, but we feel 10 games may be too much, so we split the difference and went for a 9 game qualifying period, bowling 3 blocks of 3 games. The upside of this is there will be fewer lane changes, and more time to break your pair down the way you want.

we will be trying many different formats throughout the series this year, some may work, some may not, but we feel that a variety of formats may be more interesting than having the same format for each event. It is also following feedback we received from bowlers at our first event.
