There will be several new and exciting leagues commencing at Aspley 10 Pin Bowl in 2007.

Two of these new leagues are:-

CLEVER COUPONS TRIPLES
COST: $ 35.00 per bowler
FORMAT: 3 man teams playing three game with a maximum of 20 points per week
PRIZE FUND: Expected to exceed $50,000 based on 20 teams of 3 bowlers
SEASON: 45 weeks January 23, 2007 - December 4, 2007
DAY/TIME: Tuesday night at 8.00pm or 8.30pm


ASPLEY SINGLES
COST: $ 30.00 per bowler
FORMAT: Singles playing 4 games. Maximum of 20 bowlers with maximum of 10 points plus peterson points
PRIZE FUND: Expected to exceed $10,000 based on 20 bowlers
SEASON: 45 weeks January 22, 2007 - December 3, 2007
DAY: Monday night at 9.15pm

NORTHSTAR DOUBLES
COST: $23.00 per bowler
FORMAT: Doubles playing 3 games
PRIZE POOL: Expected to exceed $9000.00 based on 30 bowler
BOWLING SEASON: 46 weeks season starting 17th January through to 28th November 2007
DAY: Wednesday nights 8.30pm

HAVE-A-BALL-LEAGUE
COST: $18.00 per bowler
FORMAT: Singles playing 3 games
BOWLING SEASON: 35 weeks starting 2nd March through to 23rd November 2007
DAY: Friday evening at 5.30pm

Hello, Happy New Year to all =D> . Please keep an eye on this space, as I am in the process of putting together a list of teams bowling on Tuesday nights for this year.
I am also compiling letters RE: The League, which will be hitting your letterboxes within the next few days, but for your information now the meeting will be held at Aspley Bowl, Tuesday 23rd of January at approximately 7.00pm.

Gloria, working out the figures it would seem that we should get well over 60, 000 to 65,000 for this league based on 20 teams.

Game rate $ 4.50 = 13.50 per bowler per week
Social fund $ 21.50 per bowler per week
Total social fund for 60 bowlers = 21.50 x 60 x 46 weeks = 59,340
So with raffles and the sponsor ship to be added in to the social fund this could get quite a decent prize fund.

I do not know the game rate, but took a stab in the dark.

Working out the figures it would seem that we would get about $48,600 for this league based on 18 teams, which i might add is huge!

Game rate $5.00 = $15.00 per bowler per week
Social fund $ 20.00 per bowler per week
Total social fund for 54 bowlers = 18 Teams x $60.00 = $1080.00 x 45 weeks = $48,600.00

Looking at a Payout for the League I came up with this payout per Team...
