Just bringing this back to the top. We have had a lot of bowlers ring and ask if the 2007 Melbourne Tenpin Cup is going ahead. The answer is YES. Entry forms are at the printers NOW and we should be mailing out by end of next week. The qualifying will be over 2 Squads with a max of 56 bowlers per Squad. Day 1 squad A check-in at 8.30am Squad 2 check-in 12.30pm
Day 2 reverse Squads.

Entry Fee is still the same: $325.00 per bowler.

1st prize: $5000.00 Cash plus $5500 loose cut Diamonds.
2nd prize: $2500.00 Cash plus $3200 loose cut Diamonds
3rd prize: $2000.00 Cash plus $2750 loose cut Diamonds
Based on 112 entries will pay down to 56th place.

I will take entries over Total Bowling, however those that pay a deposit will get first preference on their choice of Squads.

Just to let you bowlers know that BSquad in The Melbourne Tenpin Cup is closing fast, will only accept 56 bowlers in each sqaud and "B" is up to 32 bowlers already. So get you entries and deposits in early to avoid any disapointments.

Just like to announce and Welcome Total Bowling as one of the NEW sponsors for the 2007 Melbourne Tenpin Cup. Total bowling will sponsor High Game non-qualifyer at $50.00 per pair during the qualifying rounds. That comes to a total of $700.00 to be won in cash for all those bowlers who do not make the top 30 cut. High game awards will be restricted to to wins per bowler. So if your lucky enough to score 4 high games, you will only be able to win 2. This will give a lot more bowlers a chance to cash during the weekend. There will also be another $300.00 up for grabs and will confirm soon how we intend to pay that prize.
Once again I would like to thank Jason / Total Bowling for the injection of cash to give more bowlers a chance to cash in the 2007 MTC.

Good news for aLL our Victorian Bowlers, the best in the world Jason Belmonte, is coming to bowl in the Melbourne Tenpin Cup, so even if you are not bowling you should come and watch this guy bowl,(it will blow you away).
This will be on the Queens Birthday long weekend so come on down to Ed Fleming Lanes to see Australia's own Tenpin Bowling Champion.
