The going rate to Sabah, Malaysia is about $825 flying Malaysian Airlnies (major sponsor) ex Sydney.
Hotel Rates: RM60.00 - 120.00 per room / night. The best dates to go over are 21st to the 26th September, 2001.
Entry fee: 80 RM per qualifying attempt and 360 RM to bowl in the finals.
If anyone has ever bowled in an Asian Zone event you'll know that they are some of the best run events in the world. They have a banquet dinner to finish with presentations as well as a bonus Asian Zone TV finals for the top 16, which is more money and paid in US Dollars.
Anyone interested in going let me know, I'm running at about 50% at the moment but it wouldn't take much to chnge my mind.
