Jon King Wins the Gympie Grand Slam

Congratulations to Jon King who today won the 2010 Gympie Grand Slam. Jon ran the through the field after a slow start to finish 4th before the step ladder final. He made short work of Morty Douglas - 5th and George Frillingos - 4th in the first match before taking on Brandon Qualischefski in the 2nd match. Jon finally got over Brando in the end 222 - 199.
The final match was Jon taking on the top qualifier Brendan Meads. It was a close final right to the end. But in the end it was Jon victories over Brendan 247 - 222.

Thankyou to all the bowlers who braved the rain and weren't afraid to be challanged.

Congrats Jon again. You clearly showed at the business end of the day that you were the man and well done. It was great to watch you and Meadsy go toe to toe in the final match.

Jug, im sure you will get 1 soon, so hang in there mate.

Also just wanted to say thanks to Peter and the staff for a great event. Everything always ahead or on time and i will definately be back again next year.
