Invitational Tournament

[Aspley 10 Pin Bowl]

Aspley 10 Pin Bowl hosted an complimentary invitational tournament this evening (January 18, 2008) for bowlers who had bowled 290 - 300 throughout their leagues in 2007.

The categories were as follows:

290 - 299 GROUP
1st place Brendan Meads - 3 game series 751
2nd place Jason Clark - 3 game series 713
3rd place Brad Reggars - 3 game series 661
4th place Daniel Mifsud - 3 game series 642

300 GROUP
1st place Tony Hamilton - 3 game series 680
2nd place Brian Robinson - 3 game series 663
3rd place Steven Armstrong - 3 game series 657
4th place Andrew Hill - 3 game series 656

The top 4 qualifiers from the each group had a sudden death playoff resulting in the highest games securing a spot in the final. The top 2 bowlers were Steven Armstrong and Brad Reggars fighting for 1st place overall.

Our overall winner was Brad Reggars.

We'd like to thank all the bowlers who participated and congratulate those who finished in the top 4 for their respective groups. Looking forward to seeing many more 290 - 300 games throughout 2008 in the hopes that those bowlers will join us for the 2008 complimentary invitational tournament.

Thanks to Management for putting this tournament on. It was a great success, a good opportunity to get back into the swing of things before league starts and a chance to walk away with some dosh with no outlay.

If the scores lastnight were any indication, I think Aspley bowlers are looking forward to a very eventful year if you can find your line and keep your consistency.

Well done to all, it was great to have a drink and a catch up!
