We are putting an international tournament condition down on 4 lanes every Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm all bowlers that would like to bowl on the conditions that the U.S Pros bowl on come on down. Flash your league bowlers card and get cheaper games.

Ian,

You should try to get a hold of the US OPen condition (flat as a billiard table from 3 board to 3 board) to 40 feet, that should ;et a few people know where they are at.

On synthetics it gave everyone 2 boards to hit at 45 feet. ON wood, the track area might allow a copuple more boards than that, but it would be an interesting exercise.

Try the Masterton Masters Oiling Pattern Circa 1984. Eight lanes, 4 pints of oil, to 60 feet, your ball did actually fishtail.
This was also the site of the most magnificent 268 I have ever bowled.
I was well oiled (pardon ther pun) from a full night at the bar, well all night at the bar, and told to go and bowl, as it was already 8.00am, my check in time for the open doubles. My partner, Diane Whichelow (spelling) was not overly impressed with my "no sleep" approach to this very serious event, however I showed her. 268. For three.

Well back to the actual topic, I now have availble all the 2003 PBA tournament conditions, they have 5 standard oil patterns, as well as

2002 Tournamnet of Champions
2003 US Open
2003 PBA World Championships
2003 ABC Masters

we can put any of these Pro US Tournament patterns down

Let me know if anyone is interested in bowling on these conditions
so that I can prepare the lanes.

If you really want to know the meaning of 'transition' hit the 50ft World Championship pattern with dull high flaring equipment then work out where the shot is after 8-10 games when the transition and carrydown have REALLY kicked in. Have to ask Mooroolbark to put some of these down one day, practice on these and anything else will feel like a wall.
