Besides Strikezone, I like Castle Hill, Warrawong's alright sometimes, even though it's shut down now. I don't mind Hornsby, and I kinda like Nowra, but i haven't bowled there for a while. :p

A lot of people hate Warrawong Tye, but i like it coz i bowl ok there sometimes. I know i said that i hate Warrawong, but i both like and hate it. I like it when the lanes are medium, i hate it when they're dry. :p :( It's like when we went to Mt.Druitt, andf the lanes were dry one time, and oily the next. I liked it the second time, but i hated it the first(lol). I don't think Cow likes Warrawong much, either. But now we don't have to worry about it.

Me and Matty Sing love Warrawong for the revs! :p
I couldn't believe how many revs i was gettin', and i couldn't believe i had a shot(lol).

mine is starship manhattan at liverpool i bowled a 231 there

Umm Rowan I think your a little mistaken... the lane surface or condition has nothing to do with how many revs you get on the ball... thats completely based on how you release the ball!

Didn't AMF spend a whole fistful of $$$ on Warrawong a couple of years ago?
Or am I thinking of a centre up that way that sounds like it?

AMF have spent alot of money on a centre in canberra doing up everything (but the lanes) and now it will be shut down.

On the topic i like Canberra International Bowl and WondABowl Castle Hill

Thats right Tiger, Warrawong spent approx $200,000 to fix the place up (sadly nobody thought to increase the size of the players area :x ). But they just were not making the money to keep open for much longer.
Anyway, obviously I loooooove Strikezone for many reasons, but other centres I like include Campbelltown (just so I can laugh at their cafe staff...long story), Bankstown, and Queanbeyan once I find a line, (thanks for the help Mikel! 8) ) and once I re-adjust everything so I dont stick my foot into the ball return...

Yeah, Macca, we liked it for the huge amount of revs . In other words, we loved havin' big rev shots in Masters coz we were bowlin' good. I love rev shots, and so does Matty. That was basically the only shot that worked for me on the day. It was gettin' me strikes, so i kept bowlin' it. Until the lanes dried out and i had no carry. :?

How much a ball spins.
If you need examples, then here (lol) eg:-Hardly any revs-the ball doesn't spin much, and heaps of revs, theb ball spins a lot.

Rowey Rowey Rowey who told you that pile of shit?

Revs is a short term used for revoloutions!!! Do you know what they are? Say you throw the ball with 10 revoloutions it means your ball "spins" over its own axis 10 times.. Now no matter if your bowling at strikezone, warrawong or jamaica that ball is still going to have 10 revs... the lane condition controls how much a ball is going to hook (how much the ball will turn.. change direction)..

Macca, I use the term 'revs' coz it sounds heaps better than 'hook', and so do a lot of people. I didn't know taht, but I've used revs for a long time. Would you like me to say 'hook' when I'm talkin' to you???

I'd Love it!!!!

If you want to use a completely different term to describe something then go ahead..

But tell me something! What happenes when your talking about how many revs (revoloutions) you put on the ball affecting how much your ball hooks (or revs in your case)

"Man you should have seen this guy.. he put so many revs on the ball and it made his ball rev alot"

Im confused... does anyone else follow?
