I always use the "I need a new ball" or "I need new shoes" when imtrying to con something out of my mum instead of buying it myself. If i have a bad game i will say its because i need a new ball hahaha. Works 9/10 times.

I work for AMF and can say i've almost heard them all. One guy who bowls league came up whining and complaining that the lane was crooked because his ball kept hooking sideways!!
