Just under one week after the passing of Judy Stewart, her daughter and my sister Kerry (who used to bowl at Cross Road) and her husband Colin Smith welcomed the arrival of a beautiful baby girl "KHIANA JUDY SMITH" weighing 6lb 4oz. Mother and baby are both doing very well and hope to be home by the end of the week.
She was due on July 18th (our brother Gavin's birthday) but came on June 18th after going into early labour on the 17th (what would have been Judy Stewart's 61st birthday).
Judy was very much looking forward to the birth of her youngest daughter's first child. We are saddened she did not get to share in it with us but now we have a happy and positive event to celebrate together.
