CANNON HILL RESULTS

A field of 92 Balls and 60 Puffs bowled the first Tour Stop for 2008 - only 7 bowlers short of 2007 field which included the Rachuig Roll-offs. Congratulations to all who attended and very special congrats. to Chris. Wingett for his first 300 game (fortunately sponsor Vic Wilkins was there to see it and present Chris with his $100 - Thanks to Vic).

Good also to see large numbers of young bowlers who are competing with success and the Puffs numbers are outstanding. Mel Acworth bowled the Puffs High game of 264.

THE WINNERS:
Balls Handicap: Aaron Heffernan from Trent Verrender and Brett Laird
Puffs Handicap: Shannon Markham ahead of Larissa Brosnan and Debbie Stewart (oops! Dale!).
Balls Scratch: Brendan Meads with an awesome 240.4 (looking forward to Redcliffe to see you with MINUS 40 handicap !!)
Puffs Scratch: Shannon Markham - the only Puff above 200 with 206.6.
The Scratch Pool was well supported once again with a pool of $460 paying to 9th place. Total Prize money for the weekend - $6655.

Congratulations to all those who cashed especially the winners - well deserved and good to see the usual mix of squads and averages making some $$$. Thanks to staff at Cannon Hill for an enjoyable and busy weekend.
A very special 'thank you' to our scorer Linda for her hard work. Linda, who only lives 10 minutes from the bowl thought we were bowling at Caboolture !!!!!!!! We shall say no more ....... the bowlers of the Tour once again make the hard work that the TEAM puts in, well worth it .. thanks.

Would like to congratulate Mary on a fantastic turn out once again. Congrats to Brendan on taking out the Men's Scratch division with an astounding 240 average and also to Brad Reggars coming in 2nd place with a 230 average. Keep up the form going into the weekend guys. Would also like to congratulate Shannon Markham on taking out the Puffs scratch. Keep up the great work girl and look forward to catching up soon. Well done to all other bowlers who cashed. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the next tour stop.
