I have been bowling for 4 years and have never been coached. Pete has always been willing to lend advice aswell as others. I have been in and out of good and bad habbits and to be honest only just started to know what mistake i make and when (more often anyhow), and have always wondered if i would be further along in my game if i had coaching. I've simply taken advice given by pete, michael and alike, and with filming tried to understand and put the advice into action. I have only recently become pleased with my release, not the versatility of it, but its alot smoother (most of the time) than it has ever been, and sparing has improved alot, not too the point of brilliance or not as good as i would like it to be, but better too the point that i know why i miss.

So judging from my own experience above, having an experienced and onlooking set of eyes could have made a difference over a period of time as there was stretches of months where i didnt know what the problem was.
