Hi All,

This was taken from Kegel’s “The Inside Line” by Ted Thompson
I found this to be a good read, hope you do too.

Cheers,

Good Find Scott,

There are just so many variables these days that have made the game so much harder. Sure league averages are high due to house shots. But this article is really talking about tournament condition and the effect of bowlers that hit their spot a lot and how they affect the lane conditions of other bowlers.

League is about having a fun night with your bowling buddies, not super high scores. So if the lanes are tough, who really cares.

Well worth a read to anyone wanting to bowl in a sports series and learn how to read the lanes and understand the effect of the people around you.

It is all a lot of fun.

Hi Graeme,

I have read a number of the articles before. The Bowler articles are good showing the ball thoughts, like Norm Duke and the " Duke Box". All good reading. The different spans that Chris Barnes' users between shots still gets me.

Hi All,

Ted Thompson has written a follow up to this article.
Breakdown & Carrydown - By the Numbers

For those who enjoyed the last one, this is just as interesting...

Cheers,
Scott.
