Biggest 3 game series

should have been much higher .... started league with the 225, was lost early but threw the last 5-6 x's in game one to get the respectable 225, then chucked the 300 ..... even though it wasnt my first, i then proceeded to lose the plot for 2 frames throwing - 9, then 9 - (in defence of the gutter i was throwing the edge) .... so from 18 in the second frame, sheeted the rest of the game for 258. Needless to say an 800 series gone begging there!

My biggest 3 game series is the subject of another thread in this forum.

But for those of you interested my best 3 game series is:

188, 198, 213

Those 3 games come to a heartbreaking 599, this was way back in 1997.

The closest i've come since then is a 596 in October last year.

Incidentally my five best 3-game series are: 599, 596, 594, 592, 590.

I've also bowled 587 at least twice.

I consider myself lucky though that ive bowled this good, and yet over the last couple of years my average has rarely dropped under 170 , most of the time its been hovering between 170-175, and has even gone above 180 on a couple of occasions, so i consider myself fortunate that i am bowling pretty consistenly.

A 600 series is not far off.

Only time will tell when it happens.

So frustrated - I've bowled 5 300 games but they didn't count. The latest was in a 9 or more tournament, but they were REAL strikes!
