Huge congrats to you Angelo on winning the Cairns Open for the second year in a row (we knew you could do it!!). Also congrats to Carl for coming 2nd and Brando and George for 3rd equal. Well done to you guys.

Congrats to Rob Kaluci and JD from Mackay for making the final and huge congrats to JD for bowling a 300 in qualifying.

One other person deserves a huge congrats and that is to Brenda (BROOM BROOM ) Carr the pocket rocket from the Burdekin who won the womens division quite convincingly and also for qualifying on a massive 232 ave Bren fantastic bowling you were absolutely awesome keep the form up for Rachuig Rolloffs

Congratulations to one of the true gentlemen of our sport Angelo Nucifora, who against a very strong field that included the likes of Bottomley, Frilingos and Qualischefski successfully defended the title that he won in 2008.

Anyone who knows Angelo knows what an awesome guy he is, and what a massively talented bowler he has always been and continues to prove time and again.

Congratulations must also go to Carl, George and Brandon for their placings, and again showing why they are some of the best bowlers in the country.

A huge thank you must go to Gavin Third for running an excellent tournament. I know he puts in a huge amount of work which often goes unseen, which I know is greatly appreciated by all of the bowlers.

A big thanks must also go to Sue, Damo, Waza and all the staff of the bowl who did a great job and helped to make it an enjoyable experience.

Finally congratulations to JD, Meadsey and Fossy on their 300's
