300 game at Vic 150

Congratulations to Bronwyn Robinson of NSW who threw a fantastic 300 in the second game of qualifying at the Vic 150 this morning. Apart from a solid brooklyn on the 11th every shot was perfect.. Bronwyn also finished the first game with a six bagger giving her a magnificent 18 strikes in a row!!!!!!

Rod East also advised that it was the first 300 shot on lanes 18 & 19 in the history of Keon Park Bowl.

Congrats also to Mel Warmington of Qld who threw a great 279 during the same game, on lanes 22 & 23.

It will be interesting to see what the afternoon squad produces, with a lot more open bowlers in that squad.

Jane i think you need to get those eyes of your checked. Do you mean 17&18 or 19 &20. Cant see how its legal if she bowled it on 18 &19.

You are a Superstar... Wish I was there to see it happen, but I hear it was pretty damn good..

And to our other good friend Mel, great game of 279. Qualifying 1st after 8 games is a terrifc effort, seeing this is your first VIC150.
You kept it up for the 2nd day & you have qualifyed 2nd... Awesome effort buddy. Good luck for the final tomorrow...

Well done to all who bowled. 90 bowlers is a fantastic turnout. Once again it was a challenging condition, & Anne Marie proved to good to be the only one over the card with +258 after Qualfying. Well done to the Keon Park Staff on making sure everything went smooth.
