Rules are only a guideline to help leagues. However your league can vote for anything it wants as long as majority vote for the motion. You could have 175 or 190 or 210 for a vacancy score. This will be up to the league to vote on.

Then why not speak to AMF regional manager direct. You would have had all the correct info before posting on here. Would saved a lot of angst among our junior bowlers.:confused:

Maybe the "Grape Vine" should be cut & destroyed until actual verification happens. This thread almost started a Junior revolt:mad: with this event thru NO fault of AMF. maybe just maybe someone like POSSUM:mad: should extend a public apology to AMF. ;) As for our JUNIORS with high or low...

There seems to be more in this than meets the eye:confused: Committee's dont ban or fine or both without valid reason. And usually after a letter of please explain or asked to front the Association to explain your actions. Surely these things were done before you were fined and banned???

Looking thru the teams it struck me how close this competition could be at the end of 2 days of heavy bowling with Hot conditions at Forest Hills,both on the lanes and with the centre aircon............. So here are my anticipated final placings...... Mens:- 1.Dandenong-have plenty of depth...

I have been lucky enogh to bowl Rachuig several times and I have always been honoured to bowl with and against some of the best bowlers in Australia.:cool: Sometimes I have had to sit on the bench:eek: and I had no problems with that as the other team members were obviously bowling much better...

Have to agree with Pricey, changing lanes would not have guaranteed that your bowling gear would not have got damage again. So you should have decided to finish the game on the original pair, the centre should have offered to fix all damaged balls and hopefully your team could have gone on to...

I would have thought that your Team Captain would have got a ruling from your League Committee and hopefully they could have put some pressure on the centre to help ease the tension it must have caused between both teams on the night. :confused: Isn't that why league have League officers to...

At least AMF are supplying something to store your bowling gear. Personally I take back to my Motel or Apartment, at least I dont have to worry if anything gets stolen or wrecked. The simple fact is that AMF have done something to ease the problem and you the bowlers have a choice to use the...
