Yep, I got a V2 Dry as well, same thing as Matt. I would recommend that this ball be used on a fresh snappy condition, as it should tame the backend a little. However, I too have experienced the carrydown problem, where it tends to come up a little short.

Seriously, regardless of the condition, if you are good enough, you'll make the top 7 The only reason I could think that 5+2 would be useful is through injury. But if you go and look at say olympic selection, if you are injured at selection time, you just dont make the team.
