The 2011 Riverland Cup at Bowland Berri will be anounced shortly and will be held in December this year huge prize fund
Goerge Frilingos will be back to defend his title after winner the event back to back..

This is great news. THe Riverland Cup has become a popular event in country SA and I look forward to seeing it again this year. I urge South Australian tournament bowlers to support this event.

Value $200 priced entry, bigger prizefund, more prizes

Squad times:

A squad 8.30am check in for 8.45am start (limited to 24 per squad)
B squad 1.30pm check in for 1.45pm start (limited to 24 per squad)
C squad 6.30pm check in for 6.45pm start (limited to 24 per squad)

[/SIZE]Bowland is waiting in antisipation of the bowling schedule of Jason Belmonte in participating in this years cup after missing out has said chances are good in being in Berri to compete , hope the news is good in the coming weeks.

Format

Stage 1

All bowlers bowl 10 games qualification

Stage 2 ( Pinfall carry over from stage 1)

Top 16 bowlers from stage 1 to bowl a further 4 games, field then cuts to top 8.

Stage 3 ( Pinfall carries over from 1 and 2 combined )

Top 8 bowlers play matchplay (7games head to head )

Stage 4 - TV stepladder finals

Top 3 play TV finals

2 v 3 - 1 game

Winner v 1 - 1 game match ( with right to rechallenge )
