As the Chairperson of the ACT/SNSW Committee, I gave players and parents the opportunity to withdraw their child/ren with full monies back, no questions asked, if they were unsatisfied with the outcome of selection. The players were informed of the withdrawal of Kyle Webber prior to play on Saturday at Belconnen (27/11/04). I also advised those that were in attendance at the announcement of the Team that I was more than willing to talk to them afterwards. This opportunity is still available to the parents or the bowler concerned directly.
I believe the 2005 Team is a strong Team. However, we can not move forward with any other decisions until the problem of confusion/dissatisfaction is resolved. I have been asked if the Boys Team (Shield 7) can have a meeting without parents or committee members in attendance. I have given my full approval and await a favourable outcome from a group of mature, young adults.
