Group Selection & Lanes

On the day of the tournament, entrants will draw out their nominated group and position and be put into the allocated spot in the following order A - H. This will be repeated 3 times until each group has 4 bowlers. The lane draw will consist of each group being randomly drawn out and put on pairs 1/2 - 15/16. This will be done for each Qualifying Stage & before the day of the tournament.

Yes you pick your pool ball, that number correspondes to your group and bowler number within the group.

Well not actually who you bowl against in your group, but you choose the ball that puts you into your group.

Apart from that it's pot luck who's in it. 2 years ago we had 4 local Caboolture bowlers bowling and 3 of the 4 drew the same group . . .

Thats the benefit of this tournament anyone can win. It's not ranked like tennis the 4 best bowlers could draw the same group, they may not . . . .

Comes down to individual games lol.

We've had 250 game lose and a 116 game win . . . .

No worries Nathan.

I will be staying at family relative place at North Lakes on night before to make to arrive at Cabby around 8am next morning. Looks like i have to take Morayfield exit by coming from the south on M1?

I am going to take 9 practice games today and Thursday for the last before this big tournament! I need good average of 220 to gain the top spot. Not sure if i am on fire again like at Tweed

Yeah that exit or the next exit at Buchannan's Road, either or but Morayfield is prob best. Should only take you about 15-20 mins driving so don't leave to early unless you just want a good parking spot, plenty of them though.

Doesn't matter if you ave 220 or 120 or it's all on points Matt, just win your games. Top 2 in each group of 4 progress through and cash.
