2007 ???????

Sunshine Coast 3 to 1

Almost at evens, with a decent amount of starters and with some stallions on board they are really the team to beat. A good showing of late with some younger horses really hitting their straps, you'd be crazy to exclude them from the top 3. Sir Chris Quail (Official Ball Carrier to the Mayor of North Queensland) and King's Knight Warren Sutherland to lead the pack from the front…look for a strong finish 3 furlongs from home… ;)

Gold Coast 7 to 2

Only a few horses making the trip to this track from a month ago, only 3 of that quality pure bread… With only a few starters from last year this team could pull off anything. With a combination of heavy and dry track specialists a team to be reckoned with. Missing last years stud, they have called on an old Nag to lead them home…Sir David Turnage will be looking for a young stable mate I am sure for this event… Watch this team if there is a betting scandal or shenanigans as there is a stallion who has been known to pay his own way…:D

Brisbane 4 to 1

Not popular crowds favorite either, a totally up hill battle for any Stable…The Brisbane stallions don’t have a good record in this comp and I don’t see things changing now. A few trips to the glue factory likely after this race, odds may blow out in the ring closer to the date…With a couple of stable mates visiting this track again only one has good form… COURT JESTER Tony Hamilton found this track a little tough going last start with a new set of hoofs, may find it better going second time round…with King's Knight Steve Hampson back after a lengthy spell, might just find this track a little tough going like he did in the stud field…Hamilton’s stable mate Rafton might just find this track a little easy going...Look for Hampson at the finish looking for more ground to cover…:D

Caboolture 6 to 1

Lucky for this team we are not doing greyhound odds as this team would be able to provide the bunny…Little Shetland Pony DREWY and Sir Phil Wilkinson will look to lead by example and look for this pack to be a closer nit outfit for this run… McCloskey a known dry tracker could be better for his second outing…Look for Alford to be in the mounting yard earlier than expected and to be bringing it up the rear close to the finish…Meads and Drew may very well be the key to this stable providing a strong showing on track…:D

Rockhampton 7 to 1

With a huge majority of horses running in this event you'd imagine one of them would have the ability to fall over the line… With only two to three really good chances, their shear number of starters brings their odds right down. Worth a chance;

Hervey Bay 7 to 1

Suited this class and distance and rates among the leading hopes…Looks ideal and will go close… Look for this outfit to be steered by an old handler to get them across the line…Great blood lines in this stable…With any outstanding performances will be followed by urine samples…:D

Bundaberg 10 to 1

With a home track advantage this stable could provide interference before the finish line…With a mixture of both Stallions and Geldings a rail draw keeps them in contention… Capable of anything with blinkers on…Loves it here and I am sure can bounce back from there last start…Looking for more ground and this will suit…Likely improver…

Ipswich 25 to 1

A neighboring stable to the Brisbane camp have kept things quiet of late. A few horses making the trip but their lack of performance and results have seen their odds blow out. Maybe a chance of a place but nothing short of a miracle is needed to have one of these fillies win an all stars jumper…;)

Toowoomba 40 to 1

I'm not even sure if any horses are running in this event, better odds than those Kingaroy Men though…:D

Kingaroy 50 to 1

With only 1 recognised horse attending this event their odds are a little high. But don't let the lack of numbers fool you, a solid performance last race and should feature in the finals here. Prefers a dry track, we'll have to see what condition the track is in on the day.

Please don't take offence it's all a bit of fun...:D

You've out done yourself this year Jase:eek:nfire: . Great stuff. Hamilton's got nothing on you. Might be the old age getting to him. Still time Hamilton to rebutt.:p :p

Interesting odds Jase, lets see how they hold up or change during the tournament.

How bout odds for the ALL STARS, could be some bolters from both Men & Women, might get some very good odds from the roughies

Great odds Jase, some lines in there are priceless.

Nathan don't ask him to do the All stars he doesn't need anymore encouragement.;)

Lucky he isn't doing the womens odds.

Very nice work jas but i feel your TOO kind with your odds and a little misleading on the form guide.

Also looks like a someone wants a TITLE to his name?????

Don't worry i believe to be a TRUE REALM all things can't be good. I think we need an UNDERTAKER ( for all those STIFFS on the Last day), a TOWN CRIER ( has to be LOUD and OBNOXIOUS) and a POWER HUNGRY ARCHBISHOP ( By the RULES man should qualify for this).

Also Brissy should be at least 20's. Why? Hammer's tip them.

Really just to 2nd your comments about Assoc Challange. This teams event not only is a fantastic event but over the last couple of years the standard of competition is getting stronger.

2007 ??????? Could be up to 5 Contenders for this years TITLE.

HAMO'S VER.3 ODDS will be posted at a later date.

Rumour going around is that Gold Coast are acquiring at GREAT COST the services of QLD's No.1 Left Hander RONNIE CONQUEST as a Motivational Speaker to help them RETAIN GOLD. He also knows where the GOOD spas are!!!

JESTERS INC

Nice odds mate, makes me want to bowl it next year for a bit of fun. We'll see how Melbourne Cup is this Queens birthday weekend, anything like last year and I'm playing Assoc challenge in 2008....

There are a few things that concern me.........

* Darryl hanging around the stables looking after young colts.....
* Ronnie doing any sought of motivational speaking....
* Hammer aka Hummer actually bowling in a team environment and not being red carded for stupid and inappropriate behaviour

Sounds like a great event, I think the track will suit the Sunshine Coast team, my moneys on the favorites

Well here is the Ladies...:)

Brisbane 2 to 1

Bit like there stallion stable…Not popular crowd favorites either, the Brisbane Mares don’t have a good record in this comp some what like there stallion stable, all though I can see a strong swing in there favour. With a mixture of Mares and Fillies, Odds may shorten in the ring closer to the date…With a few gear changes, Blinkers on, and Winkers off, TOUNGE TIES ON are going to be a must for these young fillies, Nose bands may also be required to get them through…Even though a step up in class will test this outfit, the top weights might find this track a little more suited to them…look for a strong showing…May run wide during the race…Strong Chance

Gold Coast 5 to 2

With only three Fillies from last year, this stable with the new added Mares and Fillies will be capable of pulling off anything. After watching recent track work, this stable look a very professionally run outfit…with the Captain being a feisty Mare, I would recommend to some of the other stable’s to have there concussion plates on…The Mares last 4 runs since resuming have all been good and they have a handy draw and a good jockey in Bob Hardie, so I would expect them to be hard to beat…nothing less than 17 star Stable’s will be required to house these Fillies and Mares for the entire competition…Always looking for more ground and this will suit…Rates very highly…Never missed a place here and will go close…

Caboolture 3 to 1

With one Mare in foal, they might find this outing a little tougher going…Mare Flower didn’t show up much at her first run in easier company, but she has shown some ability on the track of late… Prior fillies in this stable have shown a lot of promise and should have been improved by the race experience…Will be suited to this distance and rates among the leading hopes…...Will give this a good shake…Must be considered…

Sunshine Coast 6 to 1

With only a few recognised Mare and Fillies attending this event, their odds may be a little high. Don't let the lack of experience fool you, a solid performance last start and should feature in the finals here. Prefers a dry track… May not have it won at the 1200m, but hasn’t had many goes at the trip and was game at the same distance last year…Look for improved performances second up start……Recent track work has been steady…Keep an eye on betting…Each way…

Rockhampton 10 to 1

These Fillies will be suited to this class and distance and rates among the leading hopes…Fitter and getting over more suitable ground… With only two to three really good chances they cannot be over looked…Forward showing wouldn’t shock…Keep in mind…

Hervey Bay 15 to 1

These Mares and Fillies will be fitter for 2 runs this Prep and should continue to improve…With blinkers on will find this class a little tougher…A good each way bet on last start performance…Recent track work has been behind closed doors…No form to report…This looks a bit tougher…Place at best…

Kingaroy 20 to 1

With Lady Filly Fiona, leading the other Fillies and Mares in the Mounting yard, this stable could prove the difference… This outfit will provide a strong showing on a Dry track… Don't let the lack of numbers fool you, looking for a solid performance after last start and could be a chance to feature in the finals here…Likely to struggle against those stronger camps…Rail draw may keep them in contention…

Bundaberg 30 to 1

Like there Stallion stable, home track advantage will be there only key… this stable could provide interference before the foul line…With a mixture of Mares, Fillies and BUNDY SIZE, a wide draw will be all that keeps them in contention… Loves it here and I am sure will try to improve on there last 3 starts…Looking for more paddock and this will suit…Likely improver…

Toowoomba 40 to 1

I'm not even sure if any horses are running in this event, better odds than those Ipswich Nags…Must improve on last start…They will need to lift… Be hoping to bounce back…Look elsewhere…

Ipswich 50 to 1

Even though they are probably lovely Fillies and Mares…they will find the going tough…Not suited to this class and distance…Looks to need more time…Can’t recommend and will struggle to regain old form……Won’t trouble the bookies…

I have given my best to write up about the ladies…Sorry I don’t know all of the teams that well and can only comment on what I see and who I know…

Please don't take offence it's all a bit of fun... :D :D :D :D

Hey Jase, what about Jockeys?
We all know who is riding who in the mens, but who are riding the ladies? ;)
I have had a little bit of experience.

Ronnie
I thought you didn't like everyone knowing about you being "little" mate. Don't worry though, at lot of girls say size doesn't matter (Yeah right)
Jim
PS I take it female jockeys are allowed, looking at some of the fillies in the field above, there are a number who would defiantly perform better under a female jockey than the more robust handling of a male one.

I'd like to see you in the jockey outfit, I dont care who you ride, I heard there are some members of the Caboolture mens team who want to ride you :)

LoL, Mate there are weight restrictions with jocky's mate;) ;) ;)

Fark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you switch your spell check region to Pigeon???????????//

Jocky's - Why try and get the apostrophe right if your going to spell it wrong?
Not your day mate! :p

That would be 100 - 1 on.

Only if jas is named captain.

Also does that mean the sponsorship from BBA is back on the cards with jas in the team?

GO GOLD COAST SILVERTAILS

hamster

ps Sounds like another side bet of a bottle of RED, Andy?

Hello Tony - I can handle another bottle of Red. Just don't tell McKenna he's very quick to produce an empty glass when there's a good Red around. :drinking:

With changes to the Gold Coast line up is it not time for an update on the odds.

I believe the Gold Coast Team have some spare cash they would like to have a wager with (well Lobby and I have our old age pension)

Jimbo (aka Sooty)

Mate I am not sure of the ruling on this, but i am sure that the other teams wouldn’t be keen on you and Looby using your weekly food stamps to bet with...:D
