Wood, Synthetic Or Both

Hi! Just wondering, what kinda lanes do bowlers like best. Do you like wood, synthetic or both. I like both coz there is many different bowli ng alleys i like with both both wood and synthetic lanes eg:-Strikezone-wood, and Castle Hill-synthetic.

All depends on what you're playing.

League I like wood better, but in tourn's I like synthetic.

The rate at which it dries out has a huge factor to play in it.

Wood is better results, but dries quicker.

Synthetic is consistant pretty much thru-out.

well i cant really give you an opinion as ive only ever bowled on wooden lanes :? but we are getting synthetics at moonah next month so we'll have to wait and see.

I like the wood, coz its what Ive learnt to bowl on, but I dont mind the synthetics, I find I get a lot better carry...no centres named, but I will say its the approach at this 1 centre that lets me down...

both. Illawarras lanes were excellent (wooden lanes) and i like the lanes at fairlanes. So im an all rounder
