What weight?

Hi.

Newbie question here after reading through a few threads. How do you decide which ball weight is correct for you? How long a go should you give each weight before trying another, and what pointers should you look for that would indicate that the ball in your hand is possibly a "goer" that you should stick with for a while?
 
Personally I've found that a weight that you can go at least 4 or more game with, that doesn't put strain on any of your fingers or your arm is good.

Usually a 10-11lbs is good for most females starting off, finger tipped I would recommend 11-12lbs.
For the males it's usually 12-14lbs starting weight, depending on the size of your body.

When you notice that you are throwing the ball a little faster that before you way want to change weight.
