any chance of getting the pattern laid on a night other than wednesday? as all of the sunshine bowlers bowl western suburbs

Wednesday night was suggested by myself and management at Epping as I can make certain that an area can be put aside for me to run the pattern. As a general rule, I am running the pattern on a number of lanes Wednesday (7pm - 9pm) & Friday (6pm - 8pm if you don't want disco lights!) nights. Please call to reserve one for you. Make sure you mention it is for the VSS.

If you wish to come in to practice at another time, the best idea is to get a few people together and call us to book at least a day in advance. Make sure you specify that it is to practice for the VSS so that I know to do some lanes for you.

To clarify an earlier post by getzgirl03, I believe there may have been a few wires crossed regarding patterns. Either the staff misunderstood the question and ment that the chameleon had not been laid last night, or they got the tournaments mixed up. We are hosting the ATBSOV tournament the week prior and they most certainly are NOT bowling on a PBA pattern!!

Good luck to everyone in this event.

I can assure everyone that the pattern being used, as per the poll, will be the chameleon. This is current version, specifically for the Brunswick Authority 22 oiling machine.

Hi Tonx,

Would you please be able to move Ralph to B squad and include Ondrej Hedi (Sunshine) as an additional bowler in B squad as well.

Thanks heaps,

Jane.

For most and i think pretty much all sunshine bowlers neither time helps as Western Subs is Weds night and Two Up is friday nights.
Is there any chance of having the condition on a tuesday prehaps???

Hi Everyone,

For those that won't be able to make it to Epping before the Sport Series tournament to practice, Mentone's Sport (or PBA Experience) League will be putting the Chameleon PBA oil pattern down for the next 4 weeks. You are welcome to come down to Mentone bowl on Monday June 18 or June 25 at 7pm and practice on the oil pattern. Although it may not be EXACTLY the same due to lane condition, bowling centre temperature, oil used, etc, it should be relatively similar and also challenging.

Cheers,

Dr. Chris (Sport and PBA Experience League Co-ordinator at Mentone Bowl)

Wednesday & Friday are the 2 nights we will be laying the pattern on a number of lanes.

However, as I mentioned, if you can give me 24hrs notice by calling in advance to book a lane, we can do a few lanes most nights.

Luke

Remember Guys, Oztenpin are running the pattern as practise up to the event.... Rumour has it Sarah Benson has been making a great effort to go down and practise on the condition, and towards the end started scoring much better!

Chameleon is a very unique pattern, and if you can make it down to a practise session on wednesday or Friday nights, OR organise a group any other night of the week to go down, it will be well worth the experience!

Thanks for all the support so far!
