Storm Tropical heat Hybrid

This is one of Storms' mid-range offerings, with a pretty simple core and a hybrid coverstock. I picked it up originally intending it for use on dryish lanes after watching Justin Muscat carve up the Cairns lanes during the NQ Champs. I found out afterwards Storm rate this as a medium oil ball. Oops.
Drilled it pin under ring, cg kicked out, about 4 1/2 x 4 for my track. I am basically a med speed tweener, 13 ish revs on a good day.
Anyway, with a bit of oil up front, this ball clears the heads easily and hooks a ton off the break point. It is very angular at the break, but surprisingly consistent and reasonably forgiving of release mistakes. Used this for the last seven games at Mackay and could not believe how much area this gave me and how well it carried.
It does need a little head oil to get to the break point consistently, but given that, this thing is a beast. If you are looking for a strong ball to cover a lot of boards on a med-dry to med-oily shot, you will love this ball.
