Hey GBS and CSP,

Give it another six months of bowling and I should have enough bowling balls to do my front fence.

Image though, going to council with a plan to build your entire house out of bowling balls!

Pretty good thermal mass in a bowling ball. You could do some funky Passive Solar Design like that! In fact, with enough of them, you could go active solar and use them to support a slab, then blow warm air from a solar collector through the gaps, storing the heat in the balls which then radiate, heating your house all day and into the night! Did I mention that Solar House Day was last week..?
