This is for Pantera fans and lovers of good Heavy Metal.

Former Pantera guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott was shot dead last night at point blank range by a gunman who had been heard yelling "This is for breaking up my band" He was reffering to Pantera, but he was not part of the band. It happened during a Damageplan concert in Ohio in the States.

The gunman also killed 4 other people before police came in and shot him dead.


I am a big Pantera fan, and I was completely lost for words when i found out. How can anyone be so stupid and cruel to take 5 people's lives (including a pioneering guitarist for thrash metal) because he was upset at a bands break up 2 years ago??

R.I.P Dimebag, and the 4 other people who's lives were tragically cut short

Yes, ive been listening to every pantera album from the very first. Im up to the last album now, its just hit revolution is my name.

I woulda loved to seen Pantera or Damageplan just once in my life...
