The cost of being a Level 1 Coach

The present cost of a Level 1 Course is around $140.
Moves are now being made to add another component to that course which could add another $110 to the cost.
Seems to me that this will not encourage people to take up coaching.
Maybe we will see a return to the old days where the centre employed their own instructor.
Level 1 or 2 wasn't required (they probably didn't exist then) but a 180 + average was essential.
Either way it seems to me that $250 is a lot to pay for the privilege of being a level 1.

what about the level 2, costs are enormous, 2 separate courses to do. then high performance at about $500.00 plus air fares plus, plus,acrreditation, registration etc
any wonder that peoples dont want to be coaches
