Team USA finally announced for Worlds

Selected to compete for Team USA at the Men's World Championships, scheduled for Aug. 20-31 in Bangkok, Thailand, are Denny's PBA Tour stars Walter Ray Williams Jr., Chris Barnes, Tommy Jones, Patrick Allen and Rhino Page as well as veteran amateur Bill Hoffman, who helped lead Team USA to the team gold medal at the 2006 event with a 300 game.

I wonder if we are sending a team at all?

A phenomenal team.

I think that goes pretty close to the top 5 average bowlers for the 07-08 PBA season.

Rhino Page: I think he was the 2nd highest average bowler on tour this season. Not bad for a rookie!

Chris Barnes: Current PBA Player of the Year

Walter Ray Williams: Leading average and 2nd to Barnes in the points race this year

Tommy Jones: The record holder for winning 10 PBA titles in the shortest space of time. Just a freak!

PA: one of the most dominant south paws on tour.

Must say, I'm a bit surprised not to see Norm Duke on that team.....he won 2 majors this year!

Don't think Norm Duke nominated..alot of the professionals are not interested in bowling for Team USA..no cash..no show.
