Well going into the last few games it would seem that some bowlers are finding the short oil pattern a little hard to master, again only 6 200's being bowled and 3 of those from bowlers in the bottom half of the field. Mac Stewart bowled a 202 but only gained 9 pins on Trotter who shot a 193 andstill is the only bowler to shoot the card today, extended his lead on Matt O'Brien who bowled a 176.Andrew Thorpe bowled a 224 and it was pleasing to see him back in the action, David McEwan, ever so steady rolled a 208 and won the $75.00 special game award which will allow him to show a profit for the day.

Joe, Andrew, Karl and staff at EFL
Thanks for a very enjoyable, yet tough, tournament.
Congrats to Paul Trotter and Mac Stewart for their respective wins.
Thanks to Lindz and Carly for organising the 'special awards' - kept the interest there guys.

Good to see some young guys and the girls have a go too.
Thanks to James McGinty for putting product up, just a pity those who won it can't use it ;) ;) ;) - it is appreciated none the less.

See you all next time - for those who didn't go, great tournament played in great spirit on testing patterns. Should be more of it!

David McEwan

Hey all,
A tough but fun time enjoyed today by those who bowled, good to catch up with a few people and have a giggle at the wide 'variety' of strikes that were being thrown by the bowlers. :D

Thanks to Joe, Sue and staff at the bowl for a very well run tournament, the score updates were spot on and very quick in the bowl for the bowlers to peruse as well. =D>

Hopefully there will be a few more girls bowling next year, it was definitely a challenge and a good test of your bowling skills. I hope people don't continue to pull out at the last minute, especially without notifying the organisers, as this means they have to rearrange the lane draw at the last minute when everyone is waiting to start bowling.. it's just inconsiderate.
Alex I have your 'special game' money so please give Ralph a call on his mobile and I will organise to get it banked for you.
Until next time...

PS: To a couple of people whose mums fell asleep up the back during the games. Please organise for someone else to pick you up next time so your poor mum can stay at home and relax on a Sunday instead of being so bored that they fall asleep.. LOL ... ;) ;)

thanks to Joe, Andrew, Karl and staff at EFL
it is a good day of bowling and it was very tough out there today Congrats to Paul Trotter and Mac Stewart for their respective wins. and will dont to everyone that had a good today.
