I know alot of the guys here have accounts with Pokerroom.com or Pokerstars.com so maybe if someone was to organise a "Sit n Go" on a night and time that suited us here in Australia there would be alot more interest. I would be happy to organise this if people would show me some interest. I used to love going up for the poker games at caboolture but now with work it makes it a bit hard. Maybe this could be the answer to get all the guys from all over Australia in the bowling community together playing some poker!!!

Let me know what you guys think, i.e. best night that suits most people, time and buy-in amounts. If we all get in on it this could be alot of fun.

Ok for those interested I have decided to run a tournament this MONDAY 21st August at 8pm just to get the ball rolling. Its only a cheap one to start with to try and build a player list. Details are below.
To be played at www.pokerroom.com
Go to the site and download the software for best results.
Tournament Name: callmenow1's (its located under the PRIVATE TAB in the tournaments section).
Buy-in: $5 + $0.50 USD
Starting Time: 8pm Monday, 21st Aug (A.E.S.T.)
Password: Bowling
Format: No-Limit Texas Holdem / Multi-Table
Number of Players: Min. 2 / Max. 300

Sorry Sean. I'd love to be in this, but a Monday night I just can not do. I hope it all goes well, though, and I'll keep an eye out for a night that I can make it.
 
Ok sorry to hear that Dejinshathe. Maybe we can rotate what night of the week we hold them on each time or something. Its all trial and error.

You have Australian Poker League which is in the Eastern States and thats the same with the National Poker League.

If you are talking about a specific poker site to play on, then i'll be in let me know. Do any of you play at home or at a casino?

Yes you are right bigdog, you can either sign into your game through Hollywood Poker or Pokerroom. So anyone interested in these games can use either game site. My game is at 8pm Monday night AEST and bigdog's game is on Saturday 4pm AEST.
 
There is a 3rd league going around, there website is www.npplpoker.co.au which is National Pub Poker League.

Well just 5 hours till the start of this Poker Tournament and numbers right now aren't looking too great. Please, if you are thinking about it then give it a go.
