As I was unable to attend the funeral service on Friday I thought I would pay homage to George here on the forum so those who weren't aware as well as those who were would be able to pay their own homage to George.
Stokesy as we all new him represented the then MTBA in the ECCC on five occasions. 2 as a junior and 3 in the Graded Mens team. One of those graded mens team I had the priveledge of serving as George's captain, so despite not catching up with him personally recently, just like all his close friends I am feeling the loss of a fellow bowler and friend.
For those who don't know although I don't have all the specific details George past away early last week as a result of a severe Epileptic turn. Not surprisingly like some of his close friends most of us were not aware that George had epilepsy.
Thanks for the good times and the bad. The East Coast family will sadly miss one of its fraternity.
