On the Cannon Hill Cup website, George has congratulated AMF as well as the Twin Tour re state of bowling in our great state. We do need some more positive comments in this game of ours - whilst there are some serious issues around, e.g. the difficult area of Women's bowling - cost factor is more horrific for the ladies with lack of numbers to support Tourns. and therefore lower Prize Funds - this Forum at least opens the door for people to voice their
opinions.

I would also like to nominate ATBSO (over 45 Seniors) for a special mention - with the ATBSO Senior Nationals being held at Kedron Bowl from 4th - 10th October and Graded and Open Interstate Team Challenge from 10th - 13th Oct., plus the tournaments that are held during the year for ATBSO - 100 bowlers at a couple of their tourns.

plus - AMF region stuff is gaining momentum as well as the Sports Series Tourns.

plus - March next year has a major tournament on the drawing board with K & K Cleaning coming up with over $6500 sponsorship for two Tournaments in one at Kedron - Men and Women qualify together but with separate Prize Funds - see details soon.

plus - Queensland Ladies Classic (Caboolture) to be run in conjuction with Qld. Cup - Super 6 Tourn. (Kedron) in June.

This covers a lot of Tournament bowling territory - both in Scratch and Handicap bowling.

Whew! I think I may compile a list of valuable sponsors for us to keep and maybe a few to add (please be in touch if you wish to contribute - 3865 8887) !!!!!!

Just like to take time out to thank Mary and her crew for the fantastic efforts they put in each and every round and not to mention behind the scenes.

It is because of people like Mary that entries to her tourns are always high and well run.

The format of the twin tour means there is a place for everybody, whether you bowl in it for practice, social or outright competition it is always a great day.

We were taken by its format as we are a bowling family and all 3 in the family can bowl in the same tournament. This is the only format that this can be achieved.

Thanks again for a great concept and your tireless efforts.
