have been watching the pros every day at amf bowlero. duke, walter, liz,and a tj all have unbelievable ball reactions to this point. my picks are tj or walter to win it all. they play either up 5,6, or 7th board or deep inside. scores have been pretty honest but some pairs seem more frogiving than others. as regards to equipment , most are using 1000 to 4000 abraloned finishes on the fresh and some migrate to polished as they break down. all balls are being used as most of these players will score with anything in their hand, providing it matches up to their game and specific lane condition. these guys are frickin awesome up close, where's jason belmonte this year? we all miss him

Thank's for that information Joe, very helpful, we don't get that kind of knowledge Downunder, even the Bowlers Journal I subscribe to only has snippets of that kind of information.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the difference of an Abralon polish to polish polished? if you get my drift.

I'm asking as one who has been polishing Balls since 1970 on a Ball Spinner and I have used Abralon as well as everything in between, like car wax, Brasso, etc.

Frank.

my earlier report says abralon finishes not polishes..... abralon is simply a sponge backed sandpaper which provides a consistent texture ball after ball. today walter beat duke 800-741, walter onlynon-flush shot was the 2458 in the tenth of game 3. duke 's was a4-9 in the first frame of game 3, otherwise both bowlers were dead flush every f'n shot...i was there and it was amazing.

in fact before match play began i told my dad i'd take tommy jones and walte ray and give him the other 62 bowlers. for $5 bucks who'd win the masters... i still thinks I'll win
