Just Letting everyone know that North Queensland Jnr Kirwan open in townsville is comming up,
This years sponsor is Troy Williams THE GOOD GUYS discount warehouse
The tournament is run by Australian Coach Ian Waters do there is know dobt it will be a good one
Based on 48 entries,
(Ian is willing to excpet more if the numbers are there)
IS to be held on the 27th and 28th of November
First stage:
All bowlers will bowl 12 games 6x2 game blocks.
Second stage:
Boys section: the top twelve boys on total pinfall from the first stage will bowl 11 games head to head with 10 bonus pins for a win and 5 bonus pins for a draw.
Girls section: the top twelve boys on total pinfall from the first stage will bowl 11 games head to head with 10 bonus pins for a win and 5 bonus pins for a draw.
Third stage: Thetop five bowlers on total pinfall from both the boys and girls section will play 1 game on the same pair of lanes, with the person with the lowest score dropping out. This will continue until only one boy and one girl remain. The top qualifier has an extra life and must be beaten twice to be eliminated. When he uses his extra life as the lowest score nobody is eliminated. If the lowest score is tied all bowler re-bowl that game.
There is also a bonus final for those who dont make cut.
First for boys gets $750 plus shirt trophy e.t.c same for the girls
Pay outs for top 5 places for boys and girls
