SCOOPS

GUINNESS SWILLUS
Only see one Aussie in the field so far and thats Frawls, and hes just dogging with them at the moment,

Mind you i think most have only gone for the 300cheque actually first prize is a little disappointing i would have thought

Good to all Aussies

Scoops

Frawls is the only one, I spoke to him last week and the figures didn't add up, $690 return flight, $200 worth of entry's, + food, + accomodation. The prizefund is not that good and Frawls was only going because he was meeting Tim there.

There is more money in the CGU TV finals which is all paid in US dollars but the hard part is making it there.

What site can you see the results??

Frawls moves to 5th and poised for a decent finish. Ahead of him, a bunch of lefties and behind him, some of the worlds best amatuer bowlers. Keep up the good bowling Frawls!

Not sure of the others but I know Saeed from Qatar is very much a rightie, a real stroker down the boards player

Wouldnt meet a nicer guy

GO AUSSIE GO

Keep them honest Frawls and kick some butt

Well all voer and a very credible 3rd place for Australias Andrew Frawley.

Frawls qualified 5th place for the step ladder

5th, 4th & 3rd Played a one game match with the winner advancing to the next match Frawls lost out to SAeed who had qualified 2nd

Saeed took the first match and then was handed the title on a platter in the sudden death

Yng Malay boy split in the 9th and the missed 10pin in the 10th to lose 185-183

A gift for Saeed - Long live the righties

Scoops,
Mate I actually finished 4th, not alot of money but I have paid for the entries, and hopefully I can win a few matches in the Asian Bowling Tour. You automatically get $400 US for making the top 14. See what happens tomorrow.

Lanes were hooking....George, there were 6 lefties in the top 9...cant go everywhere.

Yesterday I witnessed one of the greatest events in bowling Paeng Nepo from the Phillipines and Tomas Leanderson from Sweden, 2 of the world best going frame for frame for the $25000 Aust 300 game prize.
Both went all the way to the 11th and Paeng bowled his strike first for the money(dead flush) then Leanderson wnet light for an 8 count...crowd was going crazy.

In any case the second 300 prize got spit 3 ways after 2 more 300s today, so they get $8000 each.

Talk soon
Andrew.

Thanks for the update Frawls, good luck in the CGU finals, make your trip worth while and win smoe US dollars, see you in Melbourne.

3rd / 4th as you said not much cash iin that event but the rest of the week theres a few more dollars kicking around

Besides will only goto the CASBAH when u get home
icon_sad.gif

Plus if You, Mack, Tore & Thomas can get out for a hit. I'm sure that would cost a pretty penny over there.

Are you going to any of the Super Six stops in Sweden?

Maybe Dubai in April/May i think US$15,000.00 first prize

Just so expensive to fly to this region.

Well done anyway mate and all the very best of luck for the rest of the week.
