What an awesome performance from one and all. Mrs P had an idea, and put it to the test. Let's start a day and night marathon tournament she said, and so it was!
ABC Printing Pty Ltd at Milton, Brisbane, became the major sponsor, enabling this idea to proceed. Along with more fantastic sponsorship from Absolute Bowling (Global 900), Aspley 10Pin Bowl, PTI Tilt Tray Services, JAE Logistics, Glug Designs and many others, this marathon went ahead, and what a fantastic site it was!
We started at 12 midday on Saturday 19 September 09, and finished at 5.30am on Sunday morning!!
There were alot of tired bodies, but also alot of smiles!
Congratulations to all the die-hard's who stuck it through, it was an amazing event, and I can't wait until next year, anticipating it to be bigger and better
