well what a good sale to have around perth cup/melb cup time,
i took advantage of this and got launceston to Perth return for $328!......but trying to get a good fare for melb was a different story.......Virgin was $349 and qantas was $334 (mind you this is a 45 minute flight).....fair enough "Virgin" is australias budget airline...but im sure thats for the mainland only. My trip to perth consisted of ......Launceston to melb $100 (45min flight)......Melb to perth $99 (4hour flight).......so im at a loss to understand as to why here in Tasmania we pay so much more than our mainland counterparts???
