A scintillating weekend of bowling for members of the BowlAustralia Team of Champions. Another SENSATIONAL win by Brandon Qualischefski in the AO. Showing true grit Brando fought his way through the stepladder and repurcharge to beat Jason Belmonte in a thrilling finish. Well done Brando on another superb performance. Mick Little finished just out of the stepladder in 4th spot...a little luck would have seen this great champion make the stepladder final. Mick cements his place as one of our Countries true 'GREATS'.
Then the lone female in a field of 108 male dominated entries in the AO, Emma Rutten missed the 'cut' by a handful of pins finishing a credible 21st amongst the cream of Australia's male bowlers.
Finishing in 8th spot at the Vic 150, Jayde Flanagan again showed her exceptional bowling ability and talent in this 'luck of the draw' type event.
Then too Robert O'reilly bowled particularly well during the Asian Schools event winning a Bronze Medal in the team event.
Finally our 4 adult representatives:
EMMA RUTTEN; JAYDE FLANAGAN; BRANDON QUALISCHEFSKI AND MICHAEL LITTLE HAVE ALL BEEN SELECTED IN THE AUSTRALIAN REPRESENTATIVE TEAM.
All of us at BowlAustralia are in awe of your collective talents; salute you on your performances and are overwhelmingly proud to have you all represent BowlAustralia - we wish you continued strength and solid achievements through 2004.
Per: Roy Menachemson
Managing Director - BowlAustralia Group.
