Challenge Sydney Youth Cup

The Challenge Sydney Youth Cup will be run over the weekend, 2nd and 3rd June. This is the only Youth ranked event for NSW and will be held at Campbelltown City Bowl, and includes a male and female division. The prize fund has been estimated for 50 entries and will be adjusted accordingly. Included is a bowling ball for the highest non-qualifying junior bowler, boy and girl, sponsored by QUBICA AMF.

Transport: the centre is situated just off the M5 motorway, the same road from the airport, approx 45mins.
There is a train line from the airport terminal to Leumeah (1 km from bowl) and operates every 30mins Friday, Saturday and Sunday: www.cityrail.info/timetable.

This is the latest update for squad listings for Challenge Sydney Cup. The payout was based on 50 bowlers and will now be adjusted to reflect extra numbers.
We are also looking at extra lanes and will let you know any changes shortly.

We have opened up extra spots for both squads and have adjusted positions as requested.
If the changes don't suit please let me know.

The prize fund has been adjusted to base on 60 entries.
If numbers continue to firm, changes could include extending the cut for the women as well as prize fund.

Don't forget to send in your entry slip and deposit $50, cheques made payable to Southern NSW Junior Tenpin Bowling. Entry form attached.

As entries have increased we have opened both squads up and the new squad lists are attached.

Graeme has increased the girls cut to 16, recognising the large number of female bowlers attending. There will also be a payout increase as numbers firm.

Here is the latest Squad List for the Tournament. we have 82 entries at the moment and the payout will be adjusted accordingly.

We have also included nibblies at the conclusion of the final on Sunday, all bowlers, family and friends invited.

Here is the latest squad list with some changes. If you are unable to attend please let us know asap so the draw can be adjusted.

Also note that the female division now cuts to top 16 and both men and women will be starting at the same time on Sunday morning, check-in 9.00 am.

The posted prize fund (attached) is based on 70 bowlers and will change if numbers are more or less.

Thank you to all the bowlers and their great sportsmanship over the weekend to make our Challenge Sydney Youth Cup such a success. Special congratulations to the winners, Michael Graig and Cassie Staudinger.

The condition was challenging and the format a little different - I hope it was something the bowlers could appreciate. Afterall we had the top male and female youth bowlers from SA, VIC, QLD, ACT, NT and NSW competing, as well as many top juniors.

We had fantastic support from the staff at Campbelltown City Bowl and SNSW Juniors Team Management, Marilyn McCarthy and Edwina Kee. The sponsors, Challenge Property Investments are very supportive of youth bowling and will be sponsoring the coming Junior Sydney Cup in Sept/Oct this year. Qubica AMF have given two balls to the highest non-qualifing juniors: Carranna Morris and Dean Judd.

Hope to see you all again next year......Graeme is thinking of a format already........
