The World Ranking Masters have kicked off in Russia, at the Planet Bowling centre in Moscow, with the top 8 bowlers (in both Male and Female divisions) from the 3 Zones - Europe, America, Asia - competing for the crown of World Rankings Masters.

Australias World Masters Champions Michael Little and FIQ rep Jason Belmonte made the top 8 of the Asian zone and have started strongly after Day 1, Little in 5th place (1271, 211.83ave) and Belmonte in 11th (1215, 202.5ave).

Bowlers in this event are limited to registering only 6 balls to use throughout the event, with both a Short and a Long pattern designed for the event. The long pattern has been designed for bowlers to play inside, and the short pattern has been designed to play outside. Unsure at this stage what was used to play the first round, but we will find out.
