because of school holidays had to fork out extra $400 for same flights, plus $100 changerover fee, who said qantas was cheap. Regardless wife and i shall be there.

I was lead to believe that Qantas was assisting those who had to cancel due to floods ... I would take it up with them if I was you as this does not sound right.

Qantas did not charge us any penalties in changing our booking however the air fares at that time of year are 60% more expensive. It cost us another $300.

Hey Pete we just informed Qantas that it was an important tournament run each year and had to be rescheduled so they gave us the same price with no penalties ... so did not cost us 1 cent.... cheers Tony

Guys you will need to call the Qantas Call Centre and ask for a waiver on the fee. The Operator spoke to a supervisor, but their was no problem with the waiver

Have re-booked with Qantas. No problem with change of date at no extra cost.
Flights and arrival the same, just different date.
Will take that double room @ The Tavern again as well.

Seems to be some concern over accommodation and cost for the 16th & 17th April.
Yes - Riverlakes Motel is booked out.

I have just spoken with the manager of Morayfield Tavern and I have booked the total motel for that weekend.

There is 26 rooms and the cost (corporate rate) is the same as what you would have paid last weekend - $75.00 per night with one person in the room + $5.00 per extra person per night, sharing is a good option for those who don't bring partners.
These rooms are booked under my name so to stop confusion it would be best to let me know that you need a room - single/sharing/ double ... & dates of night/s staying and I will book it.
Could you please confirm (some of you already have.... thank you) that you will want your spot so that I can advise reserves of any openings

I have chatted with Roy from WA and Batesy has spoken with Cara over some concerns about this date.
WA will inform us after their AGM.
