NSW ADULT TOUR 2005-2006
AMF Australia is proud to announce the launch of the 2005-06 NSW Adult Tour with over $40,000 in prize money on offer.
The 2005-06 Adult Tour will encompass four tournaments held across four Sydney AMF centres.
The new tournaments have been totally revamped to offer cheaper up front entry fees, re-qualifying attempts and a sudden death elimination style finals series.
Each tournament will also offer Tour Championship Points (to eligible Members) which when accumulated from the four tournaments, will go towards declaring the top 32 bowlers for the 2005-06 season who will win the 2005-06 Tour Championship Prize money.
Membership fees will be $50 per season. Membership will not be compulsory, but will offer those who become members of the NSW Tour, a variety of bonuses. These bonuses include:
$30 Saving in entry fees at each tournament (reduced from $150 to $120)

Eligibility to receive Championship Points and be eligible to win prize money in
NSW Tour Members - Tour Championship
Ability to nominate one tournament* to receive double Championship points.
* Nomination must be made prior to the start of the tournament.
Membership will only be available up to the commencement of the 3rd tournament scheduled for Fairfield (3 Feb 06). After the start of this tournament, membership will close and not re-open until the commencement of the 2006-07 Series.

A new series for Youth/Junior Tournaments is also being developed and details will be released at a later date.
These tournaments represent a new era for bowling in NSW and we look forward to your support for what we envisage to be an exciting and rewarding Tournament Series.

Entry Fee -
$120 for Members ($30 discount)
$150 for Non-Members
Re-Attempts $25 per attempt (2 Games)
Tournament Structure:
Qualifying
Each bowler will bowl 8 (eight) Games of qualifying in 4 (four) 2 (two) game squads. Bowlers will then take their best 3 (three) squads to form their qualifying score.
At the completion of the initial 8 (eight) Games, a bowler may purchase an additional Squad (2 Games).
A bowler will only be able to purchase a maximum of 3 (three) re-attempts per tournament.
28 Squads are available with a maximum of 18 bowlers per squad (3 per pair).
Squads will start in 30 minute intervals using up to 12 lanes in each squad
(eg Squad 1 – 9.00am lanes 1 – 12, Squad 2 – 9.30am lanes 15-24)
Bowlers can nominate which squads they wish to bowl in, however, due to the starting times of each squad, a bowler will not be able to nominate consecutive squads (eg Squads 1 and 2 or 3 and 4). A five-minute practice will precede every squad. Bowlers must nominate their preferred 4 squads in their initial entry.
At the completion of the 28 Squads, the top 32 qualifying scores (best combined three 2 game blocks) will move to the final. The top Qualifier will receive a bonus $100.
Finals
The finals will be a 1 (one) game sudden death elimination style event. At the conclusion of 5 (five) rounds a winner will be declared. An example is attached to this post.

5th – 8th - $350 each
