TO ALL INTERESTED SENIORS BOWLERS
Tenpin Bowling Australia Limited will be introducing a Seniors (Over 50s) Rankings Division for Male and Female Seniors bowlers during 2003. The tournaments have not been finalised yet as some of them will be new tournaments created for this group. Seniors bowlers can gain points not only by bowling in the Seniors Tournaments but by bowling in any of the Open Mens and Womens tournaments as per the Rankings rules which will be updated shortly for Seniors.
One of the designated tournaments will be the official rolloff for the Seniors Teams to represent TBA and Australia in Guam during October 2003.
At some time on the weekend of this Tournament/Rolloff TBA will hold an open forum for all interested Seniors to attend. The forum is aimed at providing correct information about TBA to all Seniors and to gather input from Seniors players on future Seniors Programs and events.
Seniors bowlers should be reminded that to represent TBA and Australia they must be a registered TBA player in good standing, an Australian citizen, bowl in at least one TBA accredited league during 2003. This is a common rule for all Australian representatives – Junior, Youth, Adult or Senior.
