At 80% of 220 the par is already 120 over for your 6 games. Bowl 20 over your average on the day and cash. That is what Robbie did and it is harder for a scratch bowler to do that than a sub 190 bowler. What do people want? Improve your games and earn it.

As far as I understand Vic and Qld bowl more games for their roll offs. If you take 6 games to line up in NSW, a third of your games, your chances of making the team will be nearly gone. The other issue is the tougher conditions scare away bowlers and you don't achieve the numbers so people...

I agree with the harder patterns make the cream rise to the top. They will do this anyway.
