Just my thoughts. Maybe the 2 events need to be held in different centres with some spare lanes available if there is a problem. The volunteers running it do a great job with what they are given. There was no announcement made about why things where so far behind schedule.

Nothing like being in a 430 squad and still waiting at 530 for previous squad to finish. Still lanes to be oiled before a start can happen. Looks like scheduling for this was done by the people who run public transport

From what I've heard (not sure of the accuracy), Watergardens bowl has been put on hold indefinitely and the Sunshine bowl is going to remain operational for another 3 years or close to it.

Last years entry form was posted here on January 30 with the event on the 3rd week of March. Maybe AMF is more worried about the Joondalup Cup which is being held before the AO this year.

If that is the case why does the entry form request highest league average as of 31/1/09? Seems a bit strange to me :confused:

Has anyone heard anything about a few more stars being fired? I head that Triple H, Undertaker and others have been given their marching orders but can't find anything to confirm it.

I think 2 or 3 rounds of matches is often enough to play before people lose interest if their too far down the standings sheet.

2008 was in Qld, from memory 2007 was in Melbourne and if its rotated between the states next year will probably be in NSW somewhere

I used to race and train dogs myself a few years back but then found I didn't have the time to put in to get any good results. Although with a friend that trained my dogs for a few years we picked up a few wins.

Thanks for the advice everyone. It is an Ebonite ball....will probably cut it flat and see how it goes from there. I'd never seen this happen before, but thought some of the great people on here would have an idea about it and I was right.
